Police on the coast are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted for questioning in a November homicide and wanted as a suspect in an April drive-by shooting.

Jermaine Rashaod Mayers, aka “Bang” or “Bangman” is wanted for questioning in the death of Jacoby Bolton in Wiggins. He is also a suspect in the April drive-by in Gulfport.

Bolton was shot and killed on November 16. Just last week, Crime Stoppers put out a plea for tips from the streets on anyone who might know who was responsible for Bolton’s death.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for information that leads police to arrest Mayers. The information must go directly to Crime Stoppers for the reward to be paid.
