A Jones County man has been arrested on child molestation charges.
According to the Jones County Sheriff’s Department, Jerry Tolbert, 70, was arrested on one count of molesting – touching a child for lustful purposes after a family member brought forward accusations that he had touched a teenage female inappropriately.
Tolbert is currently being held at the Jones County Adult Detention Facility pending his initial appearance in Jones County Justice Court.
