A tractor fire had Coahoma County firefighters working hard on Wednesday.

According to the Coahoma County Fire Department Facebook page, CCFD Engine 1 was dispatched to the area of McWilliams road for a tractor fire today. Units arrived on the scene to find the tractor on fire in the field, fully involved. It was still connected to a batwing disc plow when firefighters got there.

Fire crews used the deck gun for an initial attack and followed up with a hand line. Firefighters from Lyon, Bobo, Lula and Jonestown fire departments responded.
