Three people have been arrested on assault and gang charges in an ongoing shooting investigation in Hattiesburg.

Police say a 20-year-old man was injured during a shooting incident on Wednesday in the 1300 block of Edwards Street.

The following individuals have been charged in that investigation:

Jordan Fenton, 19, of Hattiesburg, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault, criminal street gang activity and one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

Fredrick Allen, 18, of Hattiesburg, has been charged with one count of criminal street gang activity and one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

A 17-year-old, male, of Hattiesburg, has been charged with one count of criminal street gang activity and one count of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

Additional arrests are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
