On Tuesday, September 28, members of the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested an individual with an active warrant in Jackson, MS.

Nykeus Samson, 23, of Jasper County, was arrested in Jackson just before noon on an active arrest warrant through the Hattiesburg Police Department for 2nd degree murder.

Samson was wanted in connection to the May 19, 2019, shooting death of Fredrick “Neal” Paige, who was killed at 20 Broadacres Drive near Club Nina’s.

Samson has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.

On Thursday, November 5, 2020, Hattiesburg Police charged Sternell Johnson, aka, “KayNine” with murder in the shooting death of Paige.
