Jackson police are investigating two shootings in the Presidential Hills neighborhood that killed one teenager and injured another.

The shooting was reported about 9:30 p.m. Monday on Abraham Lincoln Drive.

According to Jackson Police Department, Amiyah Lee, 15, was shot in the head. Lee was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries Tuesday morning,

A 17-year-old was shot multiple times at the same location. JPD public information Officer Sam Brown said the teenager was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
