On Wednesday, November 2, Hattiesburg Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of West 5th Street just before 7 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found 5 people who had been shot. Two of them died from their injuries.

48-year-old Ricardo Hollingsworth, of Hattiesburg, and 57-year-old Sherry Strickland, of Hattiesburg, both died from their injuries.
Three other individuals are being treated at a local hospital.
