On Thursday, Nov. 17, Hattiesburg Police arrested an individual for stealing a vehicle.
18-year-old Cassius Taylor, of Hattiesburg, was arrested in the 100 block of Capitol Street, after stealing a 2007 Ford F-150 that was unlocked with the keys left inside, around 2 a.m.
Taylor was taken into custody down the street from where the vehicle was stolen from after attempting to elude officers.
He was charged with one count of grand larceny auto and booked into the Forrest County Jail. Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
