Hattiesburg woman arrested after allegedly running over 6-year-old with car

On Tuesday, Hattiesburg police charged a woman after she allegedly ran over her own child with a vehicle, and allegedly struck another individual in a domestic altercation.

Just after 1 p.m. officers were contacted by a local hospital in reference to a person that arrived seeking treatment for a 6-year-old child that had been runover by a vehicle at a residence in the 100 block of Harrell Street. After the incident, the suspect, who was identified as Keanaw Bradley fled the scene.

Around 3:30 p.m. Bradley, 25, of Hattiesburg, was taken into custody in Gulfport, with the assistance of Gulfport Police and transported back to Forrest County.

Bradley has been charged with one count of domestic violence-aggravated assault, one count of felony child abuse, and one count felony child neglect in the incident.

The male, who is the father of the child also received minor injuries during the incident, and the child is being treated for the injuries at a local hospital.

Bradley has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
