Another Mississippi child has died from COVID-19, according to the Mississippi Department of Health.
This makes the 14th pediatric death in the state since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The health department stated in their Facebook post
“Please remember that up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19, especially the most recent bivalent booster, helps protect against severe illness, and can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to those too young to be vaccinated themselves.”
