WLBT News is reporting that a teenager is behind bars after a toddler was fatally shot in Cleveland.

Police told reporters that around 8 p.m. Wednesday, a call came in about someone being shot at a local apartment complex.

The two-year-old victim was taken to hospital by private vehicle, police said, where he died of his injuries.

A 15-year-old juvenile whose name has not yet been released, was charged with murder in the child’s death.

Police said that for now, they won’t be releasing a lot of details.
