18-year-old girl surrenders to Jackson police in shooting death of 12-year-old

Another teen has admitted to being involved in the shooting death of 12-year-old Adrian McDougles.

WLBT reports that there was a press conference Friday morning in which police said that on Thursday, Cartisha Cashion, 18, turned herself in to police.

The Hinds County Jail docket says Cashion has been charged with murder, drive-by shooting and aggravated assault.

Otha Brown, 18, has also been charged with murder in Adrian’s death, and he’s charged with aggravated assault of Adrian’s brother, 16-year-old Onterrio McDougles.

Turkuan Cohen, 18, an original suspect, has been cleared. Police report he had an alibi.
