On May 05, several burial plots within the Old Biloxi Cemetery were vandalized.
The damage done to the cemetery, with an estimated repair value of over $500, included several headstones being knocked over and decorative fixtures to the plots being broken.
The Biloxi Police Department is investigating the Defacing Cemetery Property incident and is requesting assistance from the public in identifying the responsible party. The cemetery is located in the 1100 block of Irish Hill Drive in Biloxi.
