Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening in the 1600 block of North West Street.
Jimmy Pierce, 50, was shot twice in the chest by a unknown man who demanded his wallet as he sat outside. Pierce was transported by AMR to UMC where he was pronounced dead.
