Police are investigating a body found in Jackson today.
Deputy Chief Deric Hearn told reporters the unidentified and badly-decomposed body was found on East Elton Road.
The coroner’s office says it will take scientific methods such as DNA, dental records, or fingerprints to identify the person.
Police say more information will be available as the investigation continues.
