Walthall County Deputies discovered the body of a 12-year-old girl that first went missing near Tylertown.
According to WLBT, Sheriff Kyle Breland said that the girl was originally reported missing around 430 pm on Wednesday from the paradise Ranch Resort.
Quickly, there was a search that went underway of investigators and security from the resort. They searched the resort and the areas around it such as the wooded area, and the park nearby.
The young girl’s body was found in the pool.
CPR was attempted, but according to the sheriff, she was underwater too long.
