Convicted felon arrested with multiple weapons in Hattiesburg

Hattiesburg Police and the Mississippi Department of Corrections arrested a convicted felon on multiple weapon charges on Wednesday.

Jeremy Cooley, 21, of Hattiesburg, was arrested Wednesday afternoon, at a residence in the 600 block of Buschman Street, and charged with the following; possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, two counts of possession of a stolen weapon, and booked as a fugitive other with an active arrest warrant out of another jurisdiction.

In total, four weapons were seized during the arrest.

Additional charges are pending, and Cooley has been booked into the Forrest County Jail.
