UPDATE 2: Taree Johnson, 31, of Vicksburg, is charged with murder and felony domestic violence. His bond has been set at $1.2 million. Jessica Miller, 28, of Vicksburg, was also charged with murder and aggravated assault. Her bond has been set at $1.1 million.

UPDATE 1: The victim has been identified by Vicksburg Police Department as Lois Gaskin, 45.

ORIGINAL STORY, Published 3/11/22:
Vicksburg news sources are reporting that woman was fatally stabbed in an overnight fight at Waltersville Estates.

The Vicksburg Daily News says the woman was involved in an argument that became physical. Police were called to King Drive because of the disturbance, with callers saying there was a large fight taking place between two of the buildings.

The next call was that someone had been stabbed, and they were headed to the hospital by private vehicle. Two other people received minor injuries from the fight.

Two people were taken into custody in the stabbing, VDN reports. The victim died of her injuries around 1 a.m.

Miss-Lou News Now reports that the police department is expected to release more information Friday.
