On Monday, September 23, the Jackson Police Department launched an investigation into a homicide that occurred in the 3400 block of Exchange Drive.
Detectives reported that the victim, identified as Margaret Washington, was fatally stabbed at the location.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
