A woman was shot at a nightclub in Neshoba County early yesterday morning.

The incident happened on July 28 at 2:00 a.m. at Da Spot Club.

A 911 call came in that there was a reported shooting or shots or shots fired from the road.

Da Spot is located at 10500 Road 410 in Union Mississippi.

When the gunfire was fired outside of the club, a projectile entered the building and went through an interior wall.

The bullet struck the 57-year-old woman as she attempted to leave the ladies’ restroom in the back of the building.

Evidence was collected at the scene, including multiple spent handgun rounds from the parking areas and the adjacent roadway.

Several witnesses have been questioned.
