Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will occur through Thursday. Additional rainfall amounts of 3-6″ with locally heavier amounts are expected, and this will result in areas of flash flooding and the potential for road closures.

Isolated severe storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts and perhaps a few tornadoes will be possible today across central and southern portions of the area, mainly from the mid-morning into evening hours.

Numerous showers and some thunderstorms are expected tonight, especially overnight and into the early morning hours of Wednesday. Low temperatures will range from the middle 50s to lower 60s.
