Summit Officer Troy Floyd was killed in the line of duty when a man opened fire at a checkpoint on August 8th.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation identified the suspect as 25-year-old Usher Leonard. He was shot to death after the incident, but not before he injured two McComb police officers.
Citizens are invited to line the roads during the processionals for fallen Summit Police Officer Troy Floyd. The caravans after the service concludes will move as follows:

Leaving Bethel Temple Pentecostal Church after the conclusion of Officer Floyd’s services. Go west on Caleb Drive to Rogers Lane. Turn right onto Rogers Lane to Highway 84. Go east on Highway 84 to East Lincoln Road. Take right onto East Lincoln Road. Follow East Lincoln Road to the cemetery. Parking will be on Bethel Road.
