On Monday at around 6:23 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle crash on MS-27 south near Yvonna Nelson Ct. in Warren County.

A 1999 International Dump Truck driven by 64-year-old Riley Summers III of Vicksburg, was traveling south on MS-27 when it collided with a 2008 Toyota Camry driven by 30-year-old Ondrea Flaggs, also of Vicksburg. She is the neice of Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs.

The Dump Truck driver and the passenger of the Toyota Camry, Andrea Flaggs, were transported to Meriti Health with unknown injuries. The driver of the Toyota received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
