The body discovered Monday afternoon inside an abandoned car wash at a Valero gas station on Monday in Meridian has been identified as Theresa Belvin, 52. The cause of death remains unknown, pending autopsy reports, according to Lauderdale County Coroner Stella McMahan.
The body found lying in a yard in the 2100 block of 41st Avenue on September 29 has been identified as James Williams, 56. According to Lauderdale County Coroner Stella McMahan, Williams died from a gunshot wound.
These two cases appear to be unrelated.
