According to WLOX, two teenagers were injured after being struck by a police car in Bay St. Louis.

The incident happened as officers were responding to a call near U.S. 90 and Dunbar Avenue. Bay St. Louis Police Chief Toby Schwartz stated that the teenagers were walking along the road when they were hit by the police car.

Both teens were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Chief Schwartz mentioned that the incident is under investigation, and the department is reviewing all available evidence, including dashcam footage, to understand how the accident happened.
