Two 17-year-old girls were shot in Warren County Sunday evening.
According to Sheriff Warren Pace, the shooting happened in the 100 block of Abraham Drive.
There were several people involved in a verbal altercation and one individual began firing shots.
One 17-year-old female was grazed in the face, and the other 17-year-old female was shot in the hip.
Both of the teenagers had non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to recover.
Sheriff Pace said they identified a suspect and he went with the warrant team to make the arrest on Court Street.
The suspect was at a relative’s house and was taken into custody without incident.
22-year-old Jacques Lee Bailey was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault.
He is being held in the Warren County jail without bond.
He is anticipated to make his court appearance this afternoon or tomorrow morning. The sheriff’s department said they have not received the court schedule yet.
