According to WDAM, two people died in a wreck in Lamar County on Wednesday.
MHP said the crash happened in the 6400 block of U.S. 11 in Lumberton. The crash was head-on and happened around 5:30 p.m.
The drivers of both vehicles died. Lamar County Coroner Blake Matherene identified the victims as 30-year-old Christopher Lewis of Lumberton and 59-year-old Susan Copeland of Hattiesburg.
MHP is still investigating this crash.
WDAM reports that Susan Copeland was a chemistry teacher at Lumberton High School.
