In a recent traffic stop, the East Mississippi Drug Task Force, with help from the Meridian Police Department’s Special Ops K9 unit, arrested two individuals found in possession of illegal substances and a significant amount of cash.

The suspects, James David Brogan and William Michael Troutman, now face multiple charges.

Brogan has been charged with trafficking Ecstasy and possession of Oxycodone with intent to distribute.

His bonds are set at $75,000 and $25,000, respectively. Troutman faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, with a bond set at $10,000.

Authorities continue their investigation into the incident, which highlights the ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
