On Thursday, April 4, 2024, the Jackson Police Department began investigating a homicide on the 1600 block of Capital St.

Two victims, Glen Stevens and Johnny Booker Jr., were pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives issued warrants for Bernard Brown and Delbrico Tims, who were considered armed and dangerous.

Both suspects have since been arrested and charged with murder. They were each given a $1.5 million bond.
