On March 10, the Tupelo Police Department received a report of Grand Larceny on South Gloster Street.
A victim stated that they left their purse at a business and returned later to find that money had been stolen from the purse.
After further investigation, on March 14, 58-year-old Idella Lowery (Tupelo) was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny.
On 03-15-24, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Lowery to be held on a $1,500 bond. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
