On May 19, officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded to the West Main Street area in reference to a call of an individual exposing himself.
When officers arrived, the man fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody
On May 20, 30-year-old Derek Kimble (of Tupelo) was charged with Indecent Exposure 3rd Offense.
On May 20, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Kimble to be held without bond.
Kimble was currently out on bond for a Felony Indecent Exposure incident that occurred in the Robbins Street area on 04-15-24.
Due to the new charge, Tupelo Municipal Court revoked his previous bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
