UPDATE: Tunica Co. Man Arrested After Threatening To Commit Active Shooting

At 9:55 a.m. on January 3, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office said to be on the lookout for a possible active shooter.
52-year-old Tyrone Scott, of Tunica County, is driving a 2009 black, Chevrolet Tahoe with a Tunica County tag (MS TNA 6986) with a large masonic symbol on the back glass.
Scott was involved in a domestic disturbance on Tuesday, January 2, in which he cut his girlfriend with a knife on the hand and left the scene.
Scott contacted the V.A. Crisis Line then called Tunica County Sheriff’s Office on 911 and made threats that he was going to commit an active shooting somewhere.
The sheriff’s department said that Scott is a military veteran.
Tyrone Scott may be armed and dangerous. The Sheriff’s Department advised not to approach this vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Department posted on Facebook saying,
“We ask the public to take EXTREME CAUTION!”
