Late Friday night on September 13th, Prentiss County Sheriff’s Deputy Jimmy Jarman, with help from Deputy Ethan Hester, conducted a traffic stop on County Road 7100 near Jumpertown.
The stop led to the arrest of 53-year-old Guy Dean Staggs, from Rienzi, who was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent, enhanced by a firearm.
Judge Craig Bishop set Staggs’ bond at $150,000.
The case will be presented to a Prentiss County Grand Jury by North Mississippi Narcotics Unit Agent Taylor Walker.
