Three people were killed in a wreck in Jones County.
Saturday, August 19, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 84 in Jones County.
A 2019 Rangerover driven by 19-year-old Joel Scott of Laurel, traveled east on Highway 84 when it collided with a 2006 Ford F-150 driven by 21-year-old Jose Osorio, of Laurel, traveling west on Highway 84.
Jose Osorio, Joel Scott, and his passenger, 17-year-old Autumn Letson, of Waynesboro. were all killed in the wreck and pronounced dead on the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
