The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office has made multiple arrests in connection to an assault that happened on January 11, 2024, in the 7000 block of U.S. Highway 49.
On April 4, 2024, Robert Pittman, Jr. was initially arrested and charged with Attempted Murder for his role in the assault.
On October 7, 2024, John Pittman and Randa Pittman were also arrested and charged with Conspiracy and Attempted Murder under Mississippi State Statutes for their involvement in the attack.
Authorities believe all three individuals conspired together, leading to the victim sustaining serious injuries.
Both John and Randa Pittman are scheduled to make their first court appearance on Wednesday.
The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation and remains committed to seeking justice for the victim.
