The Starkville Police Department has charged 16-year-old McKenzie Robinson with murder and two counts of aggravated assault following a fatal altercation at the Brookville Garden apartments on Everglade Avenue.

The incident happened on Friday, September 6, at approximately 10:07 p.m.

Robinson, who was in a vehicle during the argument, struck several individuals, resulting in the death of a 59-year-old woman and injuries to two others.

The injured victims were treated and released from the hospital.
