On Sunday, June 23rd, Starkville police charged 37-year-old Carlos Daniels, of Starkville, with grand larceny – motor vehicle following the theft of a vehicle from the Lowe’s parking lot located at 882 MS Hwy 12 West.
The vehicle, a black 2010 Chevrolet Silverado, was reported stolen on Saturday at 8:08 a.m.
The Starkville Police Department quickly launched an investigation into the theft, with assistance from community members who provided valuable information leading to the resolution of the case.
Carlos Daniels now faces charges of grand larceny – motor vehicle, a serious offense under Mississippi law. The stolen vehicle has been recovered, and Daniels is in custody.
