The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department reported the arrest of a man being charged with two counts of Sexual Battery of a female.

35-year-old Shantez Campbell, from Starkville, was arrested on May 20.

His alleged victims were 13 and 14 years old. The Sheriff’s Department said the perpetrator was the live-in boyfriend of the victim’s grandmother.

The perpetrator is alleged to have provided the victim with pills and alcohol and then forced her to have sex with him.

The US Marshal’s Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Campbell in Blue Springs, Mississippi.

A Justice Court Judge set a Bond, of $75,000 for the two Sexual Battery charges.
