A suspect peacefully surrendered to a large law enforcement presence in an aggravated assault and kidnapping call.
The Southaven Police Department would like to thank people for “being patient with the scene during the busy time of [this] morning” as police officers, SWAT units and Crisis Negotiations teams responded to the scene.
According to a press release, Southaven PD received a complaint of aggravated domestic assault and kidnapping in the area of Tangletree Drive and Tchulahoma Road. Upon escaping, the victim was able to notify law enforcement.
