10:30 p.m. Maple Street Shooting:

The Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting at 10:30 p.m. on Maple Street. Officers found six people had been shot during a drive-by shooting.

Chief Wade said the suspect vehicle was a gray sedan occupied by 3-4 black males.

“What is so extremely problematic and concerning for me during this incident is a 3-year-old was shot as well. She is expected to recover, but as a police chief and as a father this is absolutely unacceptable and heartbreaking.”

If you know who fired upon this location, who this “absolute coward” was…please call Jackson Police, Wade asked.
