MBI issued a Silver Alert for a missing Laurel man named James Earl Mathis.
He is 56 years old nad is 5’8″ and weighs 264 pounds. He has gray hair and light brown eyes.
Mr. Mathis was last seen Tuesday, May 28th at 1:30 in the 1000 block of West Drive in Jones County driving a vehicle.
He was last seen wearing a navy blue uniform security shirt, navy blue pants, and brown steel-toed boots.
Mr. Mathis is believed to be in a 2020 Black Chevrolet Colorado bearing Mississippi tag 2195M.
Family members say he suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment.
