A second arrest has been made in the murder of a 15-year-old girl found shot to death at an apartment complex stairwell on March 25.
With the help of the Columbia Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Hattiesburg Police have arrested and formally charged another individual involved in the deadly shooting incident that occurred at the Pineview Apartments on Monday, March 25.
20-year-old Javan Stovall, of Carson, Miss., was taken into custody by HPD and has been formally charged with one (1) count of 1st Degree Murder. He is being transported to the Forrest County Jail.
Additional arrests and charges are pending as the investigation continues
