Motorists in the Ridgeland and Madison areas should be aware of upcoming road closures on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Entergy will be conducting utility work to pull a new line across Interstate 55, necessitating the temporary closure of several roads.
The affected areas include:
- Interstate 55 Southbound from Madison Avenue (Exit 107)
- Interstate 55 Northbound from Colony Park (Exit 107)
- I-55 East Frontage Road from Colony Park to Madison Avenue
- I-55 West Frontage Road from Madison Avenue to Colony Park
The Mississippi Highway Patrol, Ridgeland Police Department, and Madison Police Department will be assisting with the road closures and managing any traffic congestion.
Drivers are advised to use Highland Colony Parkway and Highway 51 as detours during the closure period. Please use caution in the affected areas.
