According to Memphis TV station WREG, the Federal Bureau of Investigation confirmed to them that they were involved in a shooting at motel in north Mississippi.
WREG reports that the alleged shooting happened at the Super 8 hotel in the 2000 block of Sloans Way. A witness told them there were FBI agents sitting in the Whataburger parking lot and he asked them what they were doing.
The witness tells WREG that the agents said they were waiting on somebody, and shortly afterward there were shots fired. The witness told WREG that agents swarmed the Super 8 parking lot.
There is no word on any injuries in the situation.
