On March 10th, the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department received a call from a male subject who could not find his two-month-old child, he later called back trying to cancel the request for help stating that he found his child.
Deputies continued to respond for a welfare check of the child.
After further investigation, 24-year-old Dylan Charles Atnip of County Road 8361 was charged with Felony Child Deprivation along with possession of paraphernalia.
Justice Court Judge Craig Bishop set the bond at $50,000.00 for the felony charge.
The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury by Investigator Torie Jumper.
