Prentiss County Man Arrested After Allegedly Shooting At Home With Kids And Adults On Porch

The Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department has arrested 45-year-old Jason Keith Hall, of Booneville, following an incident on the night of August 23, involving shots fired at a home on County Road 7090.

According to the sheriff’s department, deputies responded to a call reporting that shots had been fired toward a house while several adults and children were on the back porch. After an initial investigation and statements from the complainant, warrants were issued for Hall’s arrest.

Hall has been charged with two felonies: Shooting into a Dwelling House and Aggravated Assault-Manifesting Extreme Indifference to Human Life. He also faces charges of Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct-Failure to Comply. Justice Court Judge Ray Hall set his bond at $153,000.

The case will be presented to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury by Investigator Torie Jumper. The investigation was supported by Investigators Jason Chism, Aaron Stolz, and Deputies Dennis Peeks and Kolby Knight.
