Pike County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Alleged Burglary Suspect After Chase

On Sunday, September 22, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Rayborn Correctional Facility in Angie, Louisiana, successfully apprehended a suspect wanted in connection with multiple burglaries.

The Rayborn Correctional Facility contributed to the effort with their tracking dogs. The dogs helped chase the suspect through a swampy area following a vehicle chase.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody and faces multiple felony charges.

This investigation is ongoing.

“All suspects are innocent until proven guilty,” Sheriff Jones reminded the public in his statement.
