Pike County Deputy Arrests Man For Allegedly Fleeing Police At Over 100 MPH

On August 31, at 8:30 p.m., a Pike County Deputy attempted to make a traffic stop on a gray Chevrolet Malibu.
The driver pulled over and sped off as the Deputy approached the vehicle.
A strong odor of marijuana was emitted from the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, Rayshawn White, operated the vehicle in a manner that displayed disregard for human life by driving at speeds greater than 100 miles per hour.

Deputies located the vehicle, near White’s home, wrecked, with the tag removed.
A search warrant for the vehicle and house was issued. The execution of the search warrant led to the following arrests/citations: No Tag Light, Disobeying Traffic Device, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, No Driver’s License, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Failure to Stop.
His bond was set at $50,000.00
24-year-old Sandquaneittra Floyd, of Summit, was arrested on Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and Hindering Prosecution. No bond has been set at this time.
39-year-old Latera Crossley, of Ruth, MS was arrested on Hindering Prosecution. Bond was set at $20,000.00.
