Picayune police are looking into what appears to be a shooting that happened over the weekend.
Authorities say around 11:39 pm Saturday officers were dispatched to an address on Morris Street in reference to a deceased person. They found a deceased male who appeared to have been shot.
Detectives have been actively speaking to people who were near the residence of the victim and are in the process of interviewing other people who may have information.
