UPDATE: On March 28, Jackson police announced the arrest of a third teenager. 15-year-old Siyaski Crawford has been charged with murder in connection to this case.

Update: On March 27, Jackson Police Department Detectives with assistance from Rankin County Sheriff’s Department and Pearl Police Department arrested suspects 16-year-old Maxle Mooney and 17-year-old John Foote of Rankin County.
They are charged with murder in connection to this case.

A 14-year-old from Brandon was found shot to death on a street in south Jackson yesterday.
On Monday, March 25, the Jackson Police Department was called to 3500 Ridgecrest Drive.
Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham Stewart said a 14-year-old was found shot multiple times, lying in the street at this location. She said he was identified as 14-year-old Cameron Horne Crook, from Brandon.
He was already deceased on the scene.
